NoBoMa- No Borders Manual in elderly care to promote mobility, international lifelong learning and the transfer of competences in Eastern, Central and Southeastern Europe

Welcome to the website of NoBoMa (LLP-LDV-TOI-11-AT-001)

NoBoMa is a two year Leonardo da Vinci project, initiated and coordinated by the Institute for Social Science Documentation and Methodology (WISDOM).

The aim of the NoBoMa project is to enhance transparency and recognition of skills and qualifications in the occupational field „elderly care“ in the area Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovenia by developing Competence Matrices and a practice oriented self-assessment tool that helps elderly caregivers to assess their own competences.

More transparency of qualifications/competences is an essential component in the efforts to adapt education systems in the EU to the need of the knowledge society as well as the necessity of more and better employment in the job market „Europe“.
